Great croissant and very well made cappuccino. And one of the few places in the US with cocoa powder along with cinnamon powder - the latter being a blasphemy for orthodox Italians like chicken on pizza 😁…

First visit and bought the chocolate babka. Very impressed. The freshest I’ve come across. Easy to find really good babkas that are less fresh (eg whole foods, broad nosh) but these guys really deliver with the freshness. Elevates the product

Breads Bakery UWS was so great, there were so many menu items so there is always something for everyone. The chocolate babka was incredible too. I also loved how large their outdoor seating space was.

If you’re craving authentic french baguette: this is the place to go ! Both the baguette & chocolate babka are very good. Service was good and space was clean.

They offer some interesting twists in their pastries, including matcha flavor, adding a unique touch to classics. The babka is a standout, rich, and flavorful. Their burekas are also worth trying, especially the feta and spinach, which is particularly satisfying. And don’t miss the pistachio financiers, they’re absolutely delicious.
