I can't find the words to describe this magnificent place; I only know that I will miss it terribly when I return to Rome and can no longer start the day with one of their pastries and coffee. I'll start by saying that there's a line at any time, I was there at 7:30 and 9:30 and there was always a long line, although it moved quickly. Every pastry I've tried was sublime. Fair prices and excellent coffee. I really love it and I will miss this wonderful place terribly! Truly delicious (I say this as an Italian)! 💘💘💘

C'est Magnifique! Breads Bakery is outstanding, absolutely magnificent. Their pastries are divine, as are their breads. I came to the Upper West Side location on a Saturday evening with two friends and we had a table outdoors. My one friend really enjoyed her tuna sandwich with orange juice, my other friend savored her hummus with a variety of artisan rolls, and I loved every bite of my almond croissant. The almond croissant was buttery, flakey, and generously filled with an exquisite almond paste that pleased my palate to the fullest. I felt like getting another almond croissant because it was so delicious. After five in the evening, many of the breads are discounted. I purchased a loaf of challah to take home. While waiting for the subway, I indulged in a piece of the challah. It was amazing. By the following day, I ate more than half the loaf of my challah on my own. For a taste of France, look no further than Breads Bakery in NYC. There's a few locations in Manhattan, and they're all a treasure.

I've only had Breads in the form of people bringing pastries to me, but wow is it amazing! Everything I've had -- chocolate croissant, tomato galette, rugelach... -- has been wonderfully fresh, flaky, and flavorful. I wish we had a place like this in Boston!
