Breads Bakery Upper East Side is a quintessential neighborhood bakery in the quintessential New York neighborhood. Guests can enjoy a cup of coffee while taking in the view of bakers making their favorite breads, pastries, and legendary Black and White Cookies.

New York's Best Cookie

In homage to Glaser's Bake Shop—the Upper East Side Bakery many believe to have invented NYC's iconic Black & White Cookie—we created a unique take on the New York City cookie when opening the Upper East Side bakery in 2021. Breads Bakery's Black and White Cookie features layers of buttery laminated pastry surrounding dark chocolate and finished with vanilla bean glaze on top. The Black & White Cookie is exclusive to the Upper East Side Bakery.
